And it sounds like we&#8217;re one step closer to seeing the game come to the hybrid console.<\/p>\n<p>The game&#8217;s director Naoki Yoshida \u2014 better known as Yoshi-P \u2014 has spoken to <a class=\"external\" href=\"https:\/\/www.videogameschronicle.com\/news\/yoshi-p-reveals-positive-discussions-over-nintendo-switch-2-final-fantasy-14-port\/\">VGC<\/a> at Gamescom and confirmed that he and the team have been having &#8220;positive discussions&#8221; with Nintendo on the possibility of a port.
